As of 2 p.m. on one of the principal arteries of Essen more than 1 million people were there for Coils Parade 2007. A stopper of 2,5 kilometer with 27 charts put fire in this city, without speaking about the sound which was going to make dance the crowd of Essen. Here first photographs of the event.

LOVE PARADE 2006 BERLIN La Loveparade 2007 ne se fera pas à Berlin et les organisateurs recherche une ville "accueillante". La raison invoquée par Rainer Schaller, patron de la SARL Love Parade, organisatrice de l'événement, est le retard de la ville de Berlin à donner l'autorisation écrite pour cette manifestation. Les organisateurs, qui assurent pouvoir fournir les trois millions d'euros nécessaires pour assurer le rendez-vous, ont lancé un appel à candidature aux grandes métropoles européennes, afin que la manifestation puisse malgré tout avoir lieu. Les critères retenus pour le choix du lieu seront "une ville de plus d'un million d'habitants" et l'existence d'une "importante scène de musique électronique", a expliqué Reiner Schaller devant la presse. La ville de Berlin pourra aussi être candidate.La municipalité berlinoise a accueilli l'annonce avec surprise, rappelant que les organisateurs avaient rencontré le 5 février la direction des transports de la ville pour discuter de points précis. "On ne ferait pas ça si Berlin n'avait pas d'intérêt à l'organisation de la manifestation", a dit une porte-parole. Fondée par le DJ Dr. Motte, la Love Parade est l'une des plus grandes manifestations de musique techno dans le monde. Elle a eu lieu tous les ans début juillet à Berlin depuis 1989, à l'exception de 2004 et 2005, où elle avait dû être annulée pour cause de problèmes financiers et administratifs. Pour son édition 2006, la Love Parade avait réuni 1,2 million de "ravers" sur l'Avenue du 17 juin, l'une des plus grandes artères berlinoises.
